Oh my God, I still have this thing. I forgot. I actually forgot. I could delete it, but I don't think I will. It's quite nostalgic. I don't really draw anymore, and all my friends have far surpassed me in their artistic skills, but it's nice to see that looking back through these I'm still actually proud of some of them. My art has fallen to the wayside as school and geology took over my life. Other than an occasional sketch on the chalkboard in my office it just doesn't happen anymore. So I have been working on this computer for the past few years, and we've had this crappy monitor that makes everything look red and there was just no way to fix it. So yesterday we got a new top-of-the-line flat screen with crystal clear definition....and all my art looks a little less...colorful. It almost makes me miss my old monitor. After all this time what I see and everyone else sees has been so different. Oops, I guess.

I have never been so upset over the death of someone I never met. Maybe someday I'll find those jokes about Crocs vs. Stingrays funny, but for now I am actually quite sad about the whole ordeal. Steve Irwin was a great conservationist, and the world is a lesser place without him. RIP Steve Irwin, may heaven be filled with crocodiles, goannas, and every other "gorgeous" creature you can imagine.
